Multipurpose traveler.
This is a great travel bag. I fly monthly for overnight trips. I used to take a backpack and have to stuff everything or take a second carry on. Now I can load this and use it like a duffel or backpack, the carry handles double as backpack straps. They aren't heavily padded, they slide, and have smaller carry handles built in. The cinch straps are in multiple spots and help keep things from shifting around too much. Overall this is a well thought out and built bag. Super happy with this purchase.

I love it, it’s huge. I bike everywhere and always need a ton of stuff with me, whether it’s groceries of or clothes. This bag changed everything the best way! Gracias, Nixon, as always!

Great bag for 12 days in Japan
My 17 yr old son traveled to Japan and the tour requested only carry on size bags because of the high rate of lost bags when you use several planes to get to a location. I was able to fit 12 shorts, 12 shirts, 12 socks, 12 boxer briefs, size 10.5 men’s sneakers, an additional fold up 40L duffel bag to check on the way home for items purchased, and a toiletry bag in the 45 L backpack duffel. Precise folding is a must but the fact I could still fit all that is amazing. This bag was worth the money. A plus was that my son thought it was cool looking too. The Velcro straps on the front were great for attaching bags for items he purchased when he was on trains so he didn’t have to carry them in his hands. Great bag. So glad I bought and glad it will be a part of his future journeys around the globe.

Good purchase
I haven’t got to use the bag yet, but just from looking at it I can tell it’s nice quality and will last a long time, the backpack straps are super comfortable too.

What the difference in the escape duffel and escape II duffel?

We changed the distributor of our material that we use for the bags. When we made that switch, it meant we needed to create a new SKU as well, hence the II. Same style and design, slightly different material
