Steps to Replace Quick Release Bands

  1. Remove the existing band.
  2. Align the new band with the short side on top (12 o’clock), long side on bottom (6 o’clock) with the quick release pins facing down so they aren’t visible.
  3. Using the quick release pin, depress the spring bar on one side of the band, while inserting the pin into the hole in the lug on the other.
  4. Slide the depressed side under the lug, and release the pin sliding it around until it clicks into the hole in the lug.
  5. Repeat the same process for the other strap.
  6. Enjoy your new Nixon band!

Will this 23mm band work on The Time Teller P, which says it has a 20mm band? I don't see any 20mm rubber bands like the original that broke.

The band on my 2020 Base Tide isn't coming off. Is it not quick release?

The Base Tide does not have quick release band to case pins but screw band to case pins; they'll need to be screwed off to remove the band. We do not recommend purchasing the 23mm FKM Rubber Band for this reason. Please send your Base Tide to our repair center for correct band type. The Unit SS will take a 23mm band but the casing on the Unit SS may be too heavy for a silicone band.
