Design

Pushing against the notion that watches had to fade into the background of an outfit, the 51-30 is designed to go big in every sense.

Durability

Dive-ready 300m/30 ATM water resistance and solid stainless steel construction make the 51-30 Chrono one of the burliest pieces in the line.

Special Feature

The crown and pushers are located on the 9 o'clock side of the case instead of 3 o'clock to prevent ""wrist bite"" during active use. Uni-directional rotating bezel for an analog countdown timer. 6-hand chronograph with 24-hour and second timer subdials.

Movement

Updated Miyota - OS20 Japanese quartz 6-hand chronograph with date and a 9 o'clock crown and pusher placement.

The only colorway of 51-30 with lume is A1389-5210-00 the silver/midnight

I baught Nixon 51-30 Chrono matte black/gold in Amazon sold by nixon. My question is why didn't I receive the watch just like in the picture in amazon? To start of, the packaging is all black insted of white with the logo. In amazon the top of the watch in the picture it had the number 15j-s and the one I received is 231. Also the bracelet of my watch were the watch is being lifted is a Styrofoam instead of a transparent plastic.

We transitioned to Black packaging a few years back. The numbers and letters tell when the watch was made. Your numbers are different because it is a newer watch (made in September 2023)

How do I get a replacement gun metal grey 51-30 band?

For a new band, the watch will need to come in. Click Need A Repair at the bottom of nixon.com. Select Band Repair as the reason for repair.

What type of battery?

It takes an SR626, however you can always send your watch in for service for our team to put in a new battery, do a gasket check, and a pressure test. To send it in, click Need A Repair at the bottom of our homepage

Just received my 51-30 chrono but the blue second hand won’t move. I see on the pictures it does is there something I’m doing wrong ?

Hi! That is the chrono hand not the seconds hand. That stays off until you use the chrono timer. All user manuals can be found on Nixon.com with instructions how to turn that chrono hand on and off.
