Anyone having trouble with the moon phase set up?

How do I set the date hand?

You will want to make sure you are setting the Ascender in the following sequence: Day of week, Date, Moon Phase, Month, then finally Time. To set the date, after the day of the week is already set, please pull the crown out to second position and rotate crown counterclockwise to advance date hand. What size band does this watch have? I was looking at silicone replacement bands but I do not know which one to get.

The Ascender SS has a 42 mm case size and would need a 21mm band.

Is the red arrow the first or second hand?

Thank you for reaching out about the Ascender. On the Silver / Blue colorway, the small red arrow is going to be used to point to the date, while the larger red arrow will be the minute hand.

I am having trouble getting the crown to the second position. Does anybody know how to fix this?

We're sorry to hear you are having trouble with your new Ascender. Crown position 2 should be in between all the way out and pushed into the face of the watch. You should almost a click when it gets into place. You will need it in this position to set the date and the moon phase. Please give us a call if you have additional questions! What is the glass made from? As a fireman, I use my hands a lot and put my arms in machines and don’t want to purchase it if it can easily be damaged or scratched.

The Ascender has a Mineral Crystal and will be tough to scratch. Check out The Regulus for a great watch that can withstand your line of work!

Do the hands glow in the dark?

The indices on the All Silver Ascender do not glow. Only on the Black / Lum variant do the indices glow.
