100 meter / 10 ATM water rating and a recycled ocean plastic case. A silicone band and stainless steel caseback keeps this the watch that won't quit.

Special Feature

Stay strapped with a molded silicone quick release locking band for all day comfort. A highly legible LCD display with back light time, date, alarm, and stopwatch. All achieved with a simple 4 pusher navigation.

Movement

Out of this world digital LCD module. Functions include time of day, day, alarm, stopwatch, bright backlight for after-hours.

Sweet watch
Love this watch, simple and retro vibes. Just what I was looking for and couldn’t find anywhere else! Great price too I am not interested in paying a ton for a watch.

I can’t read the time at night
Daylight is great. However the night glow feature seems off. It distorts the numbers such that I can’t read it head on. I have to hold it at an oblique angle to see the numbers. I’ve emailed support but haven’t had a resolution. It’s disappointing because even a cheap Timex doesn’t do this.

Cool little watch
Great basic watch , time , date and very needed backlight. Best synthetic watch strap compared to other Nixon models I’ve owned .

Excellent watch.
Excellent watch for everyday use and functions well in the water while surfing. Would highly recommend for anybody that’s active in the water and looking for a cost-efficient watch.

Are the bands switchable? I would love to get this for my wife and purchase some additional color bands to accessorize. If yes, which bands on the site are compatible (and also have the tuck design b/c her wrists are tiny)?

Hey there! The Ripper uses a 20mm band, therefore, any of the 20mm bands in our band program are interchangeable! If you did want the same style but in a different color, you would need to send your watch in for service as we do not ship those out. Thanks!

Is it possible, to connect the watch with my smartphone. I need a watch who reacts in some way whenever my phone rings (vibrations, light,…) without beeing a smartwatch?
