Design

Like a high-quality wetsuit, the High Tide design centers around durability and comfort.

Durability

Injection molding reinforces the case while a stainless-steel bezel adds extra external protection. The strap is a new, super durable rubber blend that is injection-molded for maximum comfort and secured by a double-locking looper. Meanwhile, the 100M / 10 ATM water rating makes it ideal for surfing.

Recycled Ocean Plastics

Our heritage in surfing and all things ocean has led us to a commitment to minimize our ecological footprint and leave the ocean in a better state than we found it. We’re collaborating with #tide to introduce their proprietary recycled ocean plastics in select watch models. Our goal is to get waste out of the ocean, and more people into it.

#tide’s unique process allows us to repurpose all kinds of ocean plastics into safe, durable materials for our watches. Ocean plastics are shredded, cleaned, and combined with a proprietary formula to restore the original integrity of the plastic. We then process the material at a Swiss lab to achieve structural integrity for our watch cases.

High Tide Watch
Great price, The band is difficult to get adjusted right since the loop attached to the buckle side has a lock on it. I know that might be good for surfing, but not for putting it on and getting it adjusted quickly.

Not worth the price
Super basic for the price. Low quality. Gives you only basic tide info that is easily accessible with an internet search.

Got moisture in the crystal when I dove down about 10 feet.

Warranty process is a hassle too.

Info at my wrist
Love it. The wavy graph showing the next few tides and the daylight hours is super useful. I don't have to try to memorize the time when the tide peaks; I can just look down at my wrist now. This works out awesome when I'm planning to be in the water for an hour or two and I can quickly tell when the incoming tide push is starting. It also works great when looking a day or two in the future and planning when to surf.

Lowered expectations...
So far, it hasn't fallen off in the ocean. The tide info isn't perfect, but about 10 min. different than the Surfline & the tide forecast website. They are preprogramed so there is no way to correct it. Same for the sun & moon info. A whole hour off from actual sunrise. This is supposed to the flagship surf watch, but the data errors make it, "just a watch." The buttons on top of the wrist are awkward to press, as the entire watch body moves in the direction you're pushing. Side buttons are probably better. Only preset timer options. If I want a 10 min. timer, too bad, 5, 20, 30, 45. That's all you get. I do love the simple hardy design, as Nixon usually does well, but for the price of this watch, I give it 2 stars.

I am seeing alot of issues with people not getting the time and tides right for their areas - I am keen to get this watch but is there anyways I can have it set up for my area or tell me how to do so? 
Tides and time are the main reason to buy this watch.

You want to make sure that of the 550 locations, yours is one of them. I live in a small town on the east coast of Florida and they have it. But there is a list of the locations the watch provides, They won't let me link it here but definitely make sure it has your location, or very close to yours, before you buy. Then when you receive it you program it to your location, you just flip through the locations until it reads yours. Find the list!!! I hope it works out for you! The watch and it's features/ information on your wrist is so lovely!

Can you enter in a custom tide? St. Pete isn’t available in the 550 locations.

There is not a way to have the tide programmed for basic and have a sun and moon setting set up for a location. They sync together based on the spot that is chosen.

One way around this is to program time 1 and time 2 to the same time. You can set time 1 to the basic tide for your specific location and time 2 can be set to the tide at Jupiter, FL. This way you would only need to toggle between time 1 and time 2 to see this sunrise/sunset data.
