The Heat is the ultimate sports watch. Designed for function and simplicity, The Heat works hard and plays hard. With essential training features and a sleek design, it performs during your workout and looks just as good afterwards.
Easy to read, even for my old eyes. I can read the date without my glasses, which is the main reason I purchased this watch. It wears thin, which is nice. I expected the watch to be super light, it is not but the weight is not a factor in wearing comfort.
The bad:
It doesn't keep the best time. I've had the watch for two weeks and it's already 10 seconds slow. I know this is picky but I expected better. I didn't like the watch band but the "spring bars" are proprietary. The "screws" to release the spring bars are glued in place, you'll need to apply a bit of force with a small screwdriver and they will break off. Once you replace the band, you'll need some super glue to hold the spring bars back in place. I'm sure I've voided my warranty. The buttons are lousy and don't work well. The "backlight" is barley visible and you'll need to be in a very dark room to even see the backlight. The watch has a "beep" every hour. To turn it off, you'll need to change the "beep" option to "off" in the time setup. This information was NOT in the anemic on-line manual, there is no manual included with the watch. In short, I like the display of the watch but I feel it's overpriced given it's flaws.
I really like the multiple Timers...once you learn to use the button system that is. The light is nearly impossible to use without accidentally changing modes.
Overall: this will be my go-to watch for outdoor, sweaty, activities.
